Well, school's out, 20th birthday was the 21st, AnimeBoston was full of love and I will have cosplay pictures eventually, back at the office doing paperwork (no phone answering this time around!), 's birthday party is this Saturday, and everything else you missed is on my lj.

Newf and Tony are a pair of vampire siblings based on a pair of short lived drow siblings from freshman year (where they were known as Atonement and Nineteen until their untimely demises at the hands of a warhammer.) They're brujahs, raised on the streets of Detroit and turned in the 1980's.

Newf is an innocent, and optimistic 19-year-old who is not entirely on the bright side, but he makes up for it with enthusiasm and a willingness to believe the best in people. Tony dropped him at the School for Unwanted Vampires because she was convinced that she wouldn't be able to protect him from himself while persuing her own ambitions. She bought him a cell phone so he can keep in constant touch with her. He also enjoys surfing the intertubes, arts and crafts, and fangirling.

Tony is in her mid twenties, lives in Washington DC, where she works for the government and is trying to climb her way up the vampiric social network to the point where she'll feel powerful enough to protect Newf. She has a sharp tongue, an intense temper, and a very short fuse, all the shorter when Newf's safety is in question. Ironically, she likes Hunny, Newf's mentor who spends most of his time trying to inflict harm on everyone in sight.

Newf: Sleepy-time tea! With chamomile! It doesn't really help any more, but it's yummy!
Tony: I'm a fan of A positive, spiked with a little dessert wine. Or just beer, 'cause humans don't drink enough dessert wine for you to be able to really taste it. *sigh*

Newf: I don't kno-
Tony: YES. You are. What kind of question is that?! There are children here!
Newf: Sis isn't a virgin.
Tony: NEWF! SHUT IT!

3. What kind of movies do you watch?
Newf: I like Disney movies. And Charlie Brown.
Tony: Don't you look at me like that, interviewer! I let him watch R-rated movies. He just doesn't want to. My favorites are those bloody war-epic movies. You kids are too young to remember when 300 came out, but let me tell you, THIS IS SPARTA.
Newf: One time Hunny-sensei showed me a movie with these naked people hanging around, and then a guy in a maid suit came in and-
Tony: Not HERE, Newf.
Newf: I didn't like it much.

4. Are you married?
Newf: Sis says I'm not allowed.
Tony: Damn straight. I have trouble enough watching out for you without stalking your wife.
Newf: Well, you could marry me, sis.
Tony: *facepalm* Newf, we've talked about this.

5. Have you ever gotten drunk before?
Newf: Yeah, after we won the Vampire Olympics, we had a celebration party and the blood was really... funny-tasting and the room started spinning...
Tony: Hey, if I'm gonna live forever, I'm going to party.

6. Do you have a celebrity crush?
Newf: 1337h4k0rgurl! They say she invented 1337 AND she once hacked into the CIA database and deleted all their files on her, so nobody can find her! ALSO, Myara; she was a friend of Headmaster Sasuke's back in the day, and Hunny-sensei says that she took out all of Toronto on a motorcycle! And then she came back from the dead!
Tony: 1337h4k0rgurl is Myara's alias, Newf. Didn't she tell you that?
Newf:
Tony: Michelle Obama. Single-handedly responsible for insinuating vampires into the federal government. (see "Baracula".)

Newf: Uh... I dunno... I embarrass myself almost all the time...
Tony: Well, once Newf called me when I was torturing a pri- er... when I was meeting with my boss... My ringtone is the Reading Rainbow theme...

Newf: SIS! And Hunny-sensei, of course, and Mama Margie, and Toreador-sensei, and Mr Trent...
Tony: I don't have time for friends. I have Newf and a job.

10. If you saw a shooting star right now, what would you wish for?
Newf: That me and Sis and all the people at school could be happy together forever!
Tony: I would wish to be Prince of D.C. Don't worry, I'll make it happen on my own.

Newf: My favorite color is ... red... like love!

Newf: Tony used to sing... uh... some old song... "I'd like to be under the sea... in an octopus's garden with a bee."
Tony: Close enough. *pats head* Nobody ever fucken sang to me. Don't be stupid.

13. What was the best day or moment of your life?
Newf: When Sis came to Calgari for Christmas and Hunny-sensei and Mr Trent and Hamlet and I made fuzzball animals!
Tony: The last one. Fuckin' hated being alive. Death's so much easier... except that Newf's immortal and still manages to get himself in danger.

14. How would you describe your voice?
Newf: It's really high for my age... I mean, I've hit puberty, and I'm tall, but people still say I sound like a little kid. I guess it's my voice.
Tony: Usually hoarse from yelling, kinda gravelly no matter what.

15. Who is your favorite boy/girlfriend(s)?
Newf: SIS! *hugs her*
Tony: He means Hunny ... or that Hamlet boy. Really. *pushes him away* I haven't been on a date since I was hooking... er, I mean human.

16. Who is your Ex-boy/girlfriend(s)?
Newf: I don't have any ex-boyfriends...
Tony: Well, I was dating our Sire, but after he forked over the vampire blood for me and Newfie, I GTFO'd. Haven't seen him since.

17. Do you have any gifts from your girlfriends/boyfriends from your first date?
Newf: Uh... Hunny gave me a thong for Christmas this year! It's got sparkles on it... I think it's for girls though... it doesn't really... fit right.
Tony: Ah, boy. Well, he gave me some money for the first... ah... "date", but I've spent that. Turning me and Newf happened much later... Probably the best gift anyone's ever given me. Well, that and the little puff-ball penguin Newf made me this year.

18.What's your favorite pastime?
Newf: Following the Intertubes!
Tony: Psychological torture. Er... Anger management classes.

19. Any final words?
Newf: It was so nice to meet you! I'm glad we got to talk! People don't ask me about myself very often... and I think it's really good for Sis to talk to someone, you know?
Tony: Yeah. Right. What he said.

20. Where are you right now?
Newf: We're in a Starbucks in Bethesda! I'm helping Sis set up the internet on her laptop! (She's not very good with technology.)
